Find a quiet corner to discuss with your spouse how the topic relates to and impacts you as a couple. Please take advantage of these moments of conversation dedicated to each other. We hope that you will resist the temptation to say “We’ll talk about this later”… Talk about it now!

Fr. Peter Hopkins, LC
Fr. Peter was born in Syracuse, New York. He studied Liberal Arts at Thomas Aquinas College in California before entering the Legionaries of Christ in 1977. He completed his philosophical and theological studies in Rome at the Pontifical Gregorian University and the University of St. Thomas Aquinas. He has worked in Ireland and Mexico in the Catholic formation of youth and family. He was the founder and director of the Our Lady of Mt. Kisco Retreat & Family Center in New York. Fr. Peter is currently the Program Director and Chaplain at Our Lady of Bethesda. He was ordained by the Saint John Paul II along with his two younger brothers in St. Peter’s Basilica in 1991. He also has a sister who is a Nashville Dominican.
Dr. Kristi Stefani, Psy.D.
Dr. Kristi Stefani is a Resident in Psychology in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She earned her Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences (IPS) at Divine Mercy University in August 2019. She recently completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Baylor University Counseling Center and is currently a post-doctoral fellow at IPS in Sterling, VA. Dr. Stefani has experience working with individuals and couples in a variety of settings with a focus on healing from attachment injuries and relational wounds in order to move towards greater wholeness and freedom. She is especially attentive to how spiritual, cultural, and existential factors influence identity development, relational connection, and transcendental experiences. She enjoys accompanying others in her various roles as a clinician, educator, friend, and disciple.
